On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Chris Amell  of INTERDEPENDENT studios  visited Coudersport for a working site evaluation focused on near-term film production opportunities and the long-term vision of developing an AI-forward film studio campus. Chris and his team assessed operational feasibility and facility requirement including potential soundstage conversion, then conducted a focused tour of priority sites suited for immediate production and office use, with capacity for future studio expansion. NC PREP Resource Partners, local economic development agencies, state legislative representatives, local elected officials, and state agency partners were represented to discuss the project and potential collaboration. The visit concluded with identifying next steps, key contacts, and materials needed to advance potential state grant and loan support.
