CEDS – Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
CEDS Planning
The planning process, including engaging a regional CEDS committee, is intended to bring public and private sectors together to provide a baseline of information, set forth goals and establish targeted strategies and performance measures for documenting successful economic and community development. This integration of coordinated economic development also provides for the sharing of talent and resources and provides the flexibility to adapt to regional economic conditions. The CEDS is designed to encourage the exchange of meaningful strategies on how communities can soundly manage growth and development to efficiently and effectively link Land Use, Transportation, and Economic Development decision‐making at a regional level.
