Governmental agencies and nonprofits are being given the opportunity to explore funding opportunities with the Appalachian Regional Commission through a pair of virtual workshops hosted by the commission and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
Training sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon May 7 and 2 to 3 p.m. May 8.
Grants through the commission are provided for state and local agencies, along with governmental agencies, local governing boards, nonprofit organizations, Native American tribes, and higher education institutions.
The webinars are designed to give an overview of the commission’s mission and goals, along with providing insight on both construction and non-construction projects. Construction-specific requirements will be given special attention.
