About

At North Central, we believe it’s better to work together—because collaboration is key to regional opportunity. Explore this page to discover potential support organizations and partners at the state, national, and regional level for your housing work!

Support Organizations

The following table provides information about some useful organizations nationally and in Pennsylvania to support your work.

Use the filters tab in the upper left corner to find resources by level (state or national), support provided, and organization type. Use the search bar in the upper right corner to search for key words.

Local Partners

The local housing ecosystem is vast. From planners and municipal officials, to housing authorities and community action agencies—many folks are involved in housing-related work. And that doesn’t even include realtors, contractors, developers, and concerned residents! The Quick Start Housing Resource Guides linked here from Inglis are a useful starting point to see housing services and potential partners in your county.

Other potential partners to consider include:

     • Realtor associations (find your local association here)
     • Local financial institutions
     • Contractors and building trades laborers
     • Local businesses and economic catalysts
     • Renter and landlord associations

Note on Funding

Financing housing projects of various types is both one of the hardest and most important tasks. Check out the below resources for places to begin finding funding options. Additional financing support resources can be found in the table above. (💡Tip: use the “Support Provided” filter and select “Funding” to narrow the options.)
